CT Technologist - Float Team

Role: CT Technologist supporting a mobile imaging team across multiple facilities, delivering high-quality, safe imaging services while ensuring a positive patient experience. Responsibilities Perform CT exams per physician orders, adhering to safety standards and protocols. Verify patient identity, obtain relevant history, and screen for contraindications. Explain procedures using AIDET, communicate empathetically with patients and families. Prepare and position patients, assist with mobility and transfers, and ensure patient comfort. Establish IV access, administer contrast media safely, and monitor for adverse reactions. Operate CT scanners and injectors, optimize imaging techniques, and minimize radiation exposure. Evaluate image quality, recognize urgent findings, and elevate as needed. Complete documentation accurately, manage RIS, PACS, and related logs. Perform quality control checks, maintain equipment, and support daily operations. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent, with completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Minimum of 2 years hospital-based Radiologic Technologist and CT experience. Certifications: ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS (American Heart Association). Additional Information Full-time position with flexible shifts, competitive pay, and potential incentives.
