Overview
Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) in Hanford, California. Start date 08/17/2026 for an 8-week travel assignment. Weekly pay range $2,011 to $2,152 with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Day shift with a 4x10 schedule (approximately 40 hours per week). Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital. This assignment requires perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced OR environment and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures, following the nursing process and established standards.
- Assist with pre-op preparation, intraoperative patient monitoring, and post-anesthesia care coordination as appropriate.
- Maintain sterile technique, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with the surgical team, anesthesia providers, and support staff.
- Assess patients, implement a plan of care, document interventions, and communicate changes to the treatment team.
- Participate in discharge planning and patient/family education to support continuity of care.
- Delegate and supervise assigned nursing staff and coordinate duties across disciplines to promote a safe, healing environment.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California (state of practice)
- BLS (American Heart Association) required; CPR/BLS as applicable per policy
- ACLS and PALS certifications required (AHA or ARC equivalents)
- BSN preferred
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care or perioperative nursing experience
- EMR experience with EPIC and Cerner systems is required for this assignment
