Summary

As a Senior Program Analyst, you will provide analysis and evaluation across capital and strategic planning, project management, business processes, and IT operations.

Duties

Help

A a Senior Program Analyst you will perform the following duties:

• Applies a wide range of qualitative, and/or quantitative methods to assess and improve program effectiveness of complex management processes, projects and systems.
• Identifies and analyzes issues, problems, and challenges relating to efficiency and effectiveness facing IT programs.
• Serves as advocate for IT programs; presents, supports and defends IT policies, guidelines, methodologies and procedures.
• Conducts expert evaluative analyses and manages program efforts aimed at ensuring effective program performance and compliance with federal regulations.
• Researches sensitive, complex or controversial issues in assigned program areas, utilizing all resources available.

• Meet all eligibility criteria within 30 days of the closing date
• Meet time-in-grade within 30 days of the closing date, if applicable

• Serve a one year probationary period, if required.
• Undergo and pass a background investigation (Tier 2 investigation level).

Qualifications

The GS- 14 salary range starts at $127,829 per year.

Locality pay will be determined upon selection.

To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or higher in the Federal service.

S PECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:

Specialized experience is experience providing program analysis, consulting, evaluation, and authoritative guidance to management on the effectiveness of assigned programs, operations, and/or other functions or program areas as assigned. This includes experience in analyzing, evaluating, and providing authoritative guidance on programs in the areas of capital planning, strategic planning, project management, business processes, assessment, and the implementation of IT policies and operations.
