Associate Event Marketing Manager (Sponsorship)

Overview Datadog is seeking an Associate Event Marketing Manager to join our high‑performing team and support third‑party events and tradeshows across North America and Latin America. This role requires a highly organized, detail‑oriented individual who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and has a proven track record of delivering high‑quality event experiences. What You’ll Do Execute Datadog’s presence at sponsored events Manage and enact trade‑show promotional plans to maximize company exposure and generate sales leads Captain our events by managing logistics from conception to completion—including staffing, booth space, schedules, pre‑ and post‑event promotion, and ensuring lead goals are met Manage and track event budgets, expenses, KPIs, and ROI Maintain client and sponsor relationships while managing external communications Prepare and negotiate various service provider and event contracts Work cross‑functionally with teams to ensure events are on brand, on message, and attract the right audience Who You Are 2+ years of event‑management experience, executing lead‑generating events in a high‑tech, fast‑paced environment Ability to identify trends, troubleshoot, escalate, track, and resolve issues through strategic thinking and balanced decision‑making Capable of managing time and event budgets effectively Calmly and professionally handles high‑stress situations while juggling multiple projects and deadlines Team‑oriented with a sense of optimism Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand on feet for extended periods during events Willing to travel up to 50% (domestic/international) and work a flexible schedule as needed (evenings/weekends) Benefits and Growth Generous and competitive benefits package New hire stock equity (RSUs) and employee stock purchase plan Continuous career development and pathing opportunities Product training to develop an in‑depth understanding of our products and space Best‑in‑breed onboarding Internal mentor and buddy program cross‑departmentally Friendly and inclusive workplace culture Salary range: $71,000 – $95,000 USD.
