Arevon
About Arevon Arevon is a U.S. energy leader committed to powering America with affordable, reliable, and secure homegrown energy. Headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, and with a regional office in New York City, the company's experienced and dedicated team develops, finances, builds, owns, and operates renewable energy projects nationwide. This is a hands-on, working Director ("player-coach") role, directly overseeing EPC contractor HSE performance and compliance with Arevon's requirements during construction, while leading a lean HSE function that includes one direct report supporting O&M. The Director will work closely with Construction, Asset Management, Development, Procurement, and executive leadership to embed a proactive, measurable, and accountable safety culture across the business. - Successful completion of OSHA 510 (Occupational Safety and Health Standards for the Construction Industry) and OSHA 500 (Trainer Course in Occupational Safety and Health Standards for the Construction Industry) credential preferred or willingness to obtain within six months of hire.
- Demonstrated ability to influence leaders, contractors, and field teams through credibility, practical judgment, and clear communication.
- Experience implementing behavior-based safety practices, leading incident investigations, and developing corrective actions that measurably improve performance.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and reporting skills, including the ability to identify trends, communicate risks, and recommend practical solutions.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities, multiple stakeholders, and distributed project teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Teams, and safety reporting or data visualization tools; Power BI experience is a plus.
- Ability to travel regularly to project and operating sites, anticipated at approximately 50%.
