Pathologist Opportunity
Carle Health is seeking a BE/BC Anatomical and Clinical Pathologist to join our established Pathology team at Carle BroMenn Medical Center in Bloomington-Normal, Illinois.
Opportunity Details
- PRN position
- New graduates welcome to apply
- Training in both Anatomical and Clinical Pathology required. Additional training in Cytopathology preferred but not required
- Join a team with 2 other BC Pathologists that support the Anatomical and Clinical Pathology laboratory services for 1 hospital in addition to multiple clinic sites and an endoscopy center
- General surgical sign-out including GI, breast, GYN, GU, derm and head and neck amongst other case types
- Perform frozen sections
- Autopsies not required
- Fully automated clinical laboratory with extensive specialized testing in each of the clinical lab sections
- Opportunity for academic and/or research affiliation with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine in Urbana, IL, the nation's first medical school focused at the intersection of healthcare and engineering
