Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
Schedule: 4-Day Workweek | Overtime Available Fridays

Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Machine Operator / Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for assisting with machine setup, operating production equipment, performing quality inspections, and completing light machine and tooling maintenance.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced manufacturing professional who enjoys hands-on work and wants a consistent 4-day workweek with overtime opportunities.

What You'll Do

• Assist with the setup and operation of CNC and mechanical press brakes using the proper tooling.
• Operate shears, punches, brakes, and other light metalworking equipment.
• Cut, bend, punch, and form carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum parts.
• Read and follow customer drawings, work instructions, and production specifications.
• Understand dimensions, tolerances, and quality requirements.
• Use measuring tools and gauges to inspect finished and in-process parts.
• Identify and report product discrepancies, machine malfunctions, and tooling issues.
• Complete production paperwork, including quantities produced, scrap, materials used, and job times.
• Perform light machine and tooling maintenance as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and OSHA safety requirements.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with press brakes, CNC equipment, shears, punches, or similar metalworking machinery is a plus.
• Ability to read customer drawings and understand dimensions and tolerances.
• Comfortable using measuring tools and gauges.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
• Ability to understand machine and tooling functions and perform basic maintenance.
• Dependable and safety-conscious with a strong work ethic.

Schedule & Overtime

1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
Friday: Overtime available as needed, either voluntary or mandatory depending on production needs.
