Customer Service Representative

An engineering-focused industrial distributor and supply-chain solutions provider is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to support our growing operations in Phoenix, Arizona. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while supporting order management, sales operations, and supply chain activities. This position plays a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction by accurately processing orders, resolving inquiries, coordinating with internal departments, and maintaining strong customer relationships. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact for customers via phone, email, and online communication channels Process customer orders, quotations, returns, and order modifications accurately and efficiently. Track and communicate order status, shipment information, and delivery schedules Collaborate with sales, purchasing, quality, warehouse, and operations teams to resolve customer issues Maintain customer records and account information within CRM and ERP systems Assist customers with product inquiries, specifications, availability, and pricing requests Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely fulfillment of customer requirements Investigate and resolve customer concerns regarding shipments, product quality, invoicing, and returns Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency Generate reports and maintain documentation related to customer service activities Ensure compliance with company quality standards and customer-specific requirements and participate in cross-functional meetings and provide customer feedback to management Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred Minimum 2 years of customer service, inside sales, order management, or account support experience Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, industrial distribution, engineering, or supply chain environments preferred Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook Experience using ERP and CRM systems Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting aerospace, defense, semiconductor, or industrial manufacturing customers Familiarity with AS9100 quality standards Knowledge of industrial components, seals, bearings, gaskets, or engineered products Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required Skills and Competencies: Customer Relationship Management (CRM)Order Processing Account Management Problem Resolution Supply Chain Coordination Microsoft Office SuiteERP Systems Time Management Attention to Detail Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM –5:00PM Additional hours may be required during peak business periods .
