Operations and Digital Engagement Admissions Recruiter The Admissions Office operates within a team-based model, led by the Chief Admissions Officer. Each team member carries full responsibility for their assigned area while working collaboratively to support shared enrollment goals. Team members actively support and encourage one another, while maintaining ownership and accountability within their individual functional roles. Job Summary The Admissions Recruiter supports Johnson University’s enrollment goals by leading the institution’s digital recruitment efforts and managing key enrollment platforms, including ZeeMee, Niche Engage, and JRM (Jenzabar Recruitment Module), as well as Admissions social media accounts. This role serves as a resource for the admissions team by equipping and supporting recruiters to use digital recruitment strategies and communication tools effectively. The position also assists with recruitment events, manages digital admissions processes, and ensures the timely completion of required admissions documentation and reporting. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, professionalism, initiative, and a commitment to providing excellent service in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Admissions Operations & Data Management Demonstrate a strong commitment to the mission and core values of Johnson University. Manage admissions documentation, including receiving, downloading, processing, tracking, and uploading transcripts, test scores, references, and other application materials. Maintain accurate student records, checklist items, application materials, and admissions data within JRM and related systems. Monitor missing documents and application completion steps, assisting with student follow-up as needed. Support admissions reporting, data accuracy, and overall process efficiency from inquiry through enrollment. Manage the Admissions email account by responding, forwarding, flagging, and processing admissions-related items. Oversee JRM communication flows, including campaign setup, automation, audience management, monitoring, and prospective student engagement. Collaborate with Admissions leadership to create and improve communication strategies that move students through the enrollment funnel. Coordinate messaging around recruitment cycles, enrollment goals, events, and key student milestones. Track communication performance and identify opportunities to improve engagement, follow-up, and conversion. Ensure student communication, notes, and recruitment activity are accurately documented in the CRM. Digital Recruitment & Marketing Manage admissions engagement across digital platforms, including Niche, ZeeMee, Instagram, text campaigns, and other approved tools. Collaborate with Marketing & Communications on admissions website content, targeted campaigns, event promotion, funnel-stage messaging, and program-specific recruitment initiatives. Track digital engagement metrics and recommend strategies to strengthen visibility, student engagement, and enrollment outcomes. Evaluate emerging recruitment technologies and digital tools that may enhance the admissions process. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and customer service skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, families, faculty, staff, and external partners. Strong presentation and public speaking skills, including the ability to confidently lead campus tours, events, and group presentations. Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy while managing multiple priorities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, exercise sound judgment, solve problems effectively, and make informed recommendations. Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive student information and admissions materials. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining a high level of personal initiative and accountability. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software applications; experience with CRM systems, admissions software, or higher education administrative platforms preferred. Previous experience in admissions, higher education, recruitment, customer service, marketing, communications, or office administration preferred. Preferred Experience in higher education admissions or enrollment management. Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce or Jenzabar Recruitment Manager. Experience managing social media platforms and digital recruitment campaigns. Office-based with frequent interaction with visitors and prospective students. Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with evening and weekend availability required during peak recruiting seasons and major events.
