The Industrial Machine Maintenance Technician maintains and repairs industrial manufacturing equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation and minimal downtime.

Core Responsibilities

Preventive & Corrective Maintenance

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machines and facility equipment.
• Install, rebuild, modify, and support production machinery under maintenance leadership direction.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Support maintenance needs for forklifts, overhead cranes, mills, grinders, lathes, and related equipment.
• Use basic machining skills to fabricate/modify components as needed.
• Use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and material handling devices safely and effectively.

Inspection, Diagnostics & Reliability

• Conduct routine inspections to identify wear, damage, or unsafe conditions.
• Diagnose root causes of failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Identify repeat issues and contribute to reliability improvements.
• Document maintenance work, inspections, and repairs per company requirements.

Safety & Work Practices

• Follow all safety, health, quality, and environmental policies.
• Perform work using proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and energy isolation procedures.
• Use required PPE and maintain an organized work area.
• Report unsafe conditions, hazards, and near misses immediately.

Team Communication & Support

• Communicate equipment status, timelines, and safety concerns to production and leadership.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime.
• Respond to urgent/emergency maintenance needs as required.

Training & Development

• Participate in ongoing training related to equipment, safety, and best practices.
• Assist in training/mentoring less experienced team members as requested.

Other Duties

• Perform other duties as assigned to support plant operations.
