Business Systems Analyst (Remote)

A Virginia-based financial services firm is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join their growing team in a Remote capacity.
About the Opportunity:- Shift: Day shift
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: Standard business
- Setting: Remote
- Analyze business processes, systems, workflows, and data to identify gaps and improvement opportunities
- Gather, document, and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and cross-functional partners on solution design and implementation
- Develop and execute test cases, support UAT, track defects, and report testing results
- Perform root-cause analysis and recommend process, system, and control improvements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience in business systems analysis, business analysis, process improvement, or a related field
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and functional specifications
- Experience with system testing, UAT, and defect management
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work effectively with business, technical, and vendor teams
- Understanding of business processes, systems integration, and technology solutions
