Temporary PD & Costing Specialist

Summary The Temporary Product Development & Costing Specialist will support product development costing by communicating with vendors and cross-functional teams to maintain accurate cost data throughout development stages. This on-site role in Downey, CA focuses on analyzing cost sheets, building cost libraries, and preparing costing reports to inform sourcing and production decisions. Responsibilities Review tech packs and BOMs to provide vendors with costing information Request and track cost sheets and updates from vendors at all development stages Review and analyze cost sheets and organize cost comparisons across vendors and categories Communicate with sourcing vendors and mills regarding development and cost issues Maintain and build cost libraries by season, division, category, and vendor Prepare costing reports at development, adoption, and final costing stages Maintain cost sheets in Full Circle and communicate cost updates to cross-functional teamsCollaborate with the technical team to prioritize internal sample room workflow Requirements Minimum of 4+ years in product development with expertise in costing Strong knowledge of costing, garment construction, pre-production, and production coordination Highly proficient in Excel for maintaining cost sheets and creating cost reports Full Circle experience is a plus Highly organized, detail oriented, able to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent judgment, sense of urgency, follow-through, and strong interpersonal and communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr brobstongroup.com - Jobboard
