Accounts Payable Supervisor

Overview Position: Accounts Payable & Office Manager Job Type: Full-time Producers Cooperative is an agricultural supply cooperative providing livestock feeds, seed, fertilizer, fuel, agricultural equipment and a wide array of farm and ranch supplies to more than 10,000 farmers and ranchers throughout southeast and south-central Texas. Responsibilities Review a high volume of invoice entries for completeness, accuracy, proper coding, and departmental approvals and approve invoices for payment. Prepare payment batches and manage Positive Pay. Ensure timely payment to vendors and maximize early payment discounts. Approve new vendors and any changes to vendor files. Conduct periodic reviews of the approved vendor list. Monitor vendor balances and perform statement reconciliations. Review aging reports and communicate with vendors regarding payment status and any outstanding checks. Manage the administrative office, personnel, and team schedules. Perform other related accounting and administrative duties and cross-functional responsibilities as needed to provide excellent customer service and support the administrative team. Qualifications & Skills 5+ years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. Prior involvement in AP automation projects or system implementations preferred.
