• Pay Rate: $70.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: 12-hour nights, every other weekend and 2 holiday shifts required

Job Summary:

Lahey Hospital & Medical Center is seeking experienced and qualified Registered Nurses for the Emergency Department. The experienced and highly skilled nurses in the ED provide care to patients that have been in accidents or have medical emergencies that need immediate attention. The new spacious, state-of-the-art Emergency Department features 44 beds in over 45,000 square feet with completely new entrances, a sun-filled reception area, a convenient imaging suite, pharmacy fast-track area, behavioral health suite, private treatment rooms, and family waiting area with family consultation room. Lahey Hospital & Medical Center utilizes complete computerized charting ( EPIC ) for patient assessment and care documentation, and to electronically record medication administration for the delivery of all medications provided to their patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care to patients who have been in accidents or have medical emergencies that need immediate attention
• Utilize EPIC for patient assessment and care documentation
• Electronically record medication administration for all medications provided to patients
• Float between Peabody and Main Campus as assigned

Education Requirements:

• BLS/ACLS AHA certification required
• MA (Massachusetts) RN License required

Required Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Epic experience required
• Must be separated from BILH (Beth Israel Lahey Health) for 6 months to be considered for permanent, per diem, or contract positions

Work Environment / Physical Requirements:

• Will float between Peabody and Main Campus
• 12-hour night shifts required
• Every other weekend required
• 2 holiday shifts required
• Excessive time off will not be considered, especially around the holidays

Important Notes:

• Day 1 pass/fail orientation exam will be administered during orientation; study guides provided during onboarding
• Must be separated from BILH for 6 months to be considered
