CNA - Hospital/Clinic

Job Summary:
Provides personal nursing care to patients under the supervision of a licensed registered nurse (RN). Assists with activities of daily living and supports patient comfort and safety throughout their stay.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with essential self-care activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and grooming.
• Take and record vital signs including pulse and blood pressure.
• Help with patient mobility, positioning, and the use of restraints when necessary.
• Support patients with nutrition, hydration, and elimination needs.
• Perform clerical duties like documenting patient reports and updating records accurately.
• Communicate patient conditions and concerns to the RN for proper assessment and intervention.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required.
• Valid nursing license in the state of practice preferred or required based on specific job parameters.
• Minimum of two years recent experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills necessary for patient care.
