A contract opportunity is available for a dedicated General Education Teacher specializing in Health at a bustling junior high. Responsibilities include:

• Delivering engaging health curriculum to junior high students
• Creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback

• Developing lesson plans and materials appropriate for diverse learning styles
• Participating in staff meetings, parent conferences, and professional development
• Managing classroom routines and maintaining clear expectations

Preferred qualifications:

• Valid teaching license and Professional Educator License (PEL) required
• Previous experience teaching general education or health strongly preferred
• Passion for helping students build life-long healthy habits
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to adapt instruction for varying abilities and learning styles
• Professional, reliable, and committed to full contract dates (August 17, 2026–May 21, 2027)
