Registered Nurse - Adult ICU

Schedule

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, featuring a contracted schedule of 36 hours per week with a guaranteed minimum of 24 hours.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Registered Nurse to join our Adult ICU team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional patient care to critically ill adults, demonstrating proficiency in all aspects of intensive care nursing. Applicants must be flexible and willing to work weekends, holidays, and float within departments as per guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in the ICU.
• Conduct assessments and monitor vital signs and patient conditions.
• Administer medications and manage life support equipment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of ICU nursing experience, with at least 12 months of recent experience.
• Valid RN license with no hits on the state license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from approved vendors (AHA, ARC, or ASHI).
• NIHSS certification required and stroke experience preferred.
• Driver's license required to verify residency.
