About the Position

Operating Room Circulator Registered Nurse Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3 twelve-hour midnight shifts (7 PM - 7:30 AM) Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Operating Room experience Robotic experience in the OR Description: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. Required Skills: Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit or department. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel. Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
