Senior Accountant

Arlington, United States | Posted on 02/09/2026 Responsible for managing certain day-to-day Cost Accounting tasks, including but not limited to: Daily production review, analysis, entry, and reconciliation (including investigating variances) Daily review of costing and inventory exception reports. Manage weekly and quarterly cycle counting procedures with adherence to company policies. Creating and distributing accounting reports as necessary. Updating/Maintaining BOM’s for existing items. Complete period close (monthly) tasks, including analyzing data, writing journal entries, and Accounting reports/scorecards. Assists in the other duties as directed by their supervisor as the incumbent builds on their experiences. QUALIFICATIONS: Required Prior Accounting experience, preferably Cost Accounting. Ability to think critically and logically. Demonstrated pattern of initiative and dedication. Excellent pattern of attendance reliability. Well-developed organizational and time management skills. Well-developed written and interpersonal skills. Proficient with use of computers, including Microsoft Office (Excel, email, etc) Preferred Experience working in a food manufacturing or related environment. Experience with QAD, or other related Cost Accounting system. Experience with perpetual inventory systems. Experience with Oracle Financials, or other ERP related system. #J-18808-Ljbffr
