Certified Surg Tech - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• BLS Certification
• 2 years' experience as a certified OR tech / Surg Tech in a surgical environment
• For CVOR positions, 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment
• Experience with spine surgeries including laminectomies, ALIFs, fusions, and discectomies
• Experience with cranial surgeries including tumors, VP shunts, subdural cases, and EVDs
• Experience with ENT procedures including neck dissections with flaps, sinus surgery, basic ENT, and tympanoplasty
• Experience with orthopedic procedures including fractures, anterior hips, total joints, ortho spine, and hand/podiatry
• Experience with general surgical cases including breasts/plastics, vascular, laparoscopic, general oncology, genitourinary, and gynecology
• Experience using EPIC

Assignment Details:

• Shift hours: 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM
• 40 hours per week
• Cross trained to General Main OR specialty and urology center
• No floating to other hospitals or sites
• Orientation is 1 to 1.5 weeks depending on team and shift
