Wellington Regional Medical Center OpportunityThis opportunity is part-time at 24 hours per week, offers part-time benefits and a convenient schedule working 10:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m. Thursday - Saturday. Join us and become part of a community committed to excellence where caring for one another is at the heart of everything we do.Job Requirements: Assumes responsibility and accountability for greeting collecting and processing all incoming patient information to gather the necessary demographic requirements in accordance with all regulations and hospital policies to provide care for the patients, procure reimbursement verification from third parties, and maintain records appropriately. Has a willingness to be cross-trained and will float to other areas or departments if the need arises. Recognizes the signs and symptoms of stroke and calling a stroke alert overhead. Verbalizes stroke alert process. Assigns temporary identification of patient (ED only), completes full registration upon patient arrival to the ED. Willingness to be cross-trained in other areas. (Admitting, Business Office, ER) Excellent verbal and written communication skills, detail oriented and organizational skills required.
