About the job Admissions Coordinator
Position Overview
- Manage inbound calls from prospective clients, families, and referral sources.
- Conduct initial screenings and identify appropriate treatment options.
- Effectively close qualified leads and convert inquiries into admissions .
- Educate clients and families on treatment programs, levels of care, and the admissions process.
- Work with insurance verification teams to navigate OON insurance benefits and financial considerations .
- Maintain consistent follow-up with prospective clients throughout the decision-making process.
- Coordinate admission dates, transportation, and other intake logistics.
- Accurately document all communication and admissions activity within the CRM.
- Meet individual and team admission and conversion goals.
- Behavioral health admissions call center experience required.
- Experience working with Out-of-Network (OON) insurance is required.
- Proven success closing behavioral health admissions and meeting conversion goals.
- Experience with substance use disorder and/or mental health treatment programs strongly preferred.
- Strong sales, communication, follow-up, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals and families during high-stress situations.
- Experience with behavioral health CRM/admissions platforms is a plus.
