About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief for its Transformation and Strategic Initiatives Branch. This pivotal role is focused on driving institutional transformation, strategic positioning, and acting as a key partner in advancing organization-wide reform, innovation, and performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting institutional transformation and organizational change, advancing strategic and innovative initiatives, and fostering an enabling environment for transformation. This includes designing, coordinating, and advancing transformation and change initiatives, ensuring coherence with organizational priorities, and mobilizing expertise and resources to support priority initiatives. Candidates for the Chief position should have an advanced degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 15 years' experience in project or program management, innovation, partnership development, and related areas. Extensive experience in leading and managing teams within large complex organizations, as well as substantive knowledge and practical experience in population and development, sexual and reproductive health, and gender, are essential. The role requires a proven track record in leading institutional transformation, organizational change, and complex cross-organizational initiatives, as well as experience in building and managing diverse partnerships. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, with the ability to translate strategic priorities into coordinated action, and will be adept at leveraging innovation for sustainable development solutions. Proficiency in English is required, and knowledge of an additional UN language is an asset.
