About the Role
The Company is in search of a VP for Finance Transformation and Strategic Initiatives. This pivotal role involves leading the evolution of finance within the organization, with a focus on modernizing and transforming various aspects including reporting, systems, data, controls, and operating processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning and executing the finance transformation roadmap, leading major initiatives, and driving the modernization of GL, reporting, data, and finance systems. Additionally, the role requires the ability to lead complex projects, advise the executive team, and support M&A, reinsurance transactions, integrations, and new business initiatives. Candidates for this role should have a minimum of 12 years' experience in finance, accounting, consulting, or transformation roles, with a proven track record in delivering large-scale finance transformation. A strong understanding of life insurance, annuities, and/or reinsurance is essential, as is deep knowledge of finance processes, systems, data, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading ERP, automation, data, or reporting transformations, and possess a strong executive presence with the ability to influence across functions. Professional qualifications such as CPA, CFA, MBA, or equivalent are a plus. The role demands a strategic thinker who can partner across various finance functions and is adept at driving change and innovation.
