Salary$175000 - $280000LocationNew York, NY, USAContractPermanentTypeHybridIndustryAccountancyContactChris Dodds View email address on click.appcast.io VP, Finance Transformation & Strategic InitiativesLocation: U.S. / HybridReports to: CFOThe OpportunityOliver James are seeking a VP, Finance Transformation & Strategic Initiatives to lead the evolution of Finance within a growing life insurance / annuity platform.This is a high-impact role working directly with the CFO and senior leadership to transform Finance across reporting, systems, data, controls and operating processes.You’ll own the transformation agenda and lead strategic initiatives across Finance, Accounting, Actuarial, Investments, Treasury and Technology.The RoleOwn and execute the Finance transformation roadmap.Lead major Finance, accounting and reporting transformation initiatives.Modernize GL, reporting, data and Finance systems.Drive automation, process redesign and scalable Finance infrastructure.Partner across Accounting, FP&A, Actuarial, Investments and Operations.Lead complex projects from strategy through implementation.Advise the CFO and executive team on transformation and strategic initiatives.Support M&A, reinsurance transactions, integrations and new business initiatives.Improve Finance controls, data quality, reporting and scalability.Ideal Profile12+ years across Finance, Accounting, Consulting or Transformation roles.Proven track record delivering large-scale Finance transformation.Strong understanding of life insurance, annuities and/or reinsurance.Deep knowledge of Finance processes, systems, data and reporting.Experience leading ERP, automation, data or reporting transformations.Strong executive presence with the ability to influence across functions.CPA, CFA, MBA or equivalent a plus.To be considered, please apply using the prompt provided.
