The ideal candidate will provide strong financial leadership across the entire PL, be an analytical thinker/problem solver, and have the ability to synthesize complex subject matter to tell a story. The role will emphasize problem-solving, communication, and a strong focus on results in order to successfully navigate various scenario gaming exercises./ph3Responsibilities:/h3ulliPartner with leadership and business teams to assess the financial implications of various macroeconomic scenarios on the Retail portfolio/liliArticulate outcomes of analysis and insights to senior management/liliDevelop presentations to communicate results to senior leadership audiences/liliEffectively manage deliverables under tight timelines/liliPartner with tech team to automate and enhance processes/liliLead the financial forecasting of the Income Statement for CCAR (Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review) and scenario gaming purposes/liliProject Management of Retail CCAR (Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review) Process/liliLeverage technology (Python, SQL) to automate models and processes/liliDevelop and manage documentation and presentation of financial results/liliFinancial forecasting and analytics to support variance analysis and model improvements/liliIdentify and enable continuous improvements across the team to drive efficiencies/li/ulh3Basic Qualifications:/h3ulliBachelors Degree or military experience/liliAt least 2 years of experience managing a Financial Planning Analysis (FPA) function/li/ulh3Preferred Qualifications:/h3ulli3+ years of experience in financial analysis/liliExperience using Google Sheets Slides/liliExperience in Python and SQL/liliExperience in financial services industry/liliExperience in complex financial modeling/liliExcellent analytical skills and experience in variance analysis/liliExcellent verbal and written communication skills/li/ulpAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position./ppThis role is hybrid meaning associates will spend 3 days per week in-person at one of our offices listed on this job posting./ppThe minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked./ppMcLean, VA: $111,200 - $126,900 for Sr. Analyst, Capital Markets Risk/ppRichmond, VA: $101,100 - $115,400 for Sr. Analyst, Capital Markets Risk/ppCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter./ppThis role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
