Creative Design Specialist

Creative Design Specialist Position reports to the Creative Director within the Division of Development and Alumni Relations (DAR). Full‑time, permanent position. Responsibilities Develop and deliver design solutions across web, social media, print, and marketing materials. Maintain visual identity and brand guidelines for UGA and DAR. Collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure timely delivery. Create design briefs, present concepts, and communicate design rationale. Conduct quality checks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and ensure high standards. Coordinate with print vendors, manage production details, and maintain quality standards. Participate in DARCOMM staff meetings, brainstorm, and contribute to communication strategy. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field. At least 2 years of full‑time professional experience in graphic design (agency or industry). Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and other design software. Strong portfolio showcasing branding, print, digital, typography, and composition. Experience with print vendors and brand guideline implementation. Preferred Qualifications Experience in web and social media design. Knowledge of image editing and retouching. Ability to work independently and in teams, manage deadlines, and communicate effectively. Physical and Practical Requirements Work in a standard office environment.
