VDC Project Manager

The Position: Seeking a Data Center VDC Project Manager to champion excellence and drive innovation through the development and use of high-quality BIM content. Location: Texas (projects all over Texas so travel will be required) Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver high-quality BIM content for the VDC department, project teams, and other support departments. Manage project-level 3D spatial coordination, including BIM schedules, scopes, and supporting files and models. Provide technical guidance and support to VDC staff across all BIM-enabled projects. Follow established processes while identifying opportunities to improve VDC workflows and overall efficiency. Attend and actively participate in departmental meetings and contribute to departmental goals and objectives. Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, technologies, techniques, and best practices related to VDC. Continuously strengthen management, communication, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills. Mentor and support the professional development of VDC Specialists and project team members. Support VDC department initiatives, objectives, and key results. Experience: Bachelor’s degree or higher in architecture, engineering, construction management, computer science, or a related field. Two to five years of field construction or VDC experience. Working knowledge of computer hardware, software, and related technologies. Proficiency with key design and coordination applications, including AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks. Experience with, or a strong interest in, leveraging 3D models and data to support project planning, coordination, and execution.
