First Assist Surgical Technologist

Minimum 2 years experience required. Licenses: CST, CFA, RNFA. Certifications required: CSTFA, CFA, RNFA. Must-have: Knowledge and skills to assist surgeons during orthopedic trauma, spine, neuro, gynecology, general surgery, robotics, and vascular surgery.

Unit specifics: Number of beds: 29. Patient ratios: 1:1. Unit staffing description: Unit secretaries and tech availability are provided. Type of equipment: Normal operating room equipment, including 5 robotic systems. Documentation system: Cerner. Scheduling requirements: Flexible; call required. Floating policy: Established for staff to ensure optimal patient care. Patient experience requirements: Focus on high-quality experiences for patients and their families. Advanced skills needed: Skills to perform procedures in orthopedic trauma, neuro, orthopedic, spine, gynecology, urology, general surgery, robotics, vascular surgery, pediatrics, ENT, plastics, podiatry, oral-maxillofacial, dental, and eye trauma.
