Senior Corporate Accountant

A leading organization is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its Corporate Accounting team. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex financial reporting, U.S. GAAP compliance, internal controls, and financial statement preparation within a sophisticated business environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare quarterly and annual U.S. GAAP financial statements, supporting schedules, disclosures, and reporting packages Manage journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and monthly/quarterly close activities Support internal controls, SOX compliance, and audit processes Partner with cross-functional teams including Tax, Treasury, Legal, and other finance groups Develop management reporting, financial analysis, and presentations for senior leadership Assist with accounting standard updates and process improvement initiatives Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field 5+ years of accounting experience focused on financial reporting and compilation Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial statement preparation Experience with audits, internal controls, and complex accounting environments Big 4 or public accounting experience preferred Insurance/reinsurance or financial services accounting experience strongly preferred Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to make an impact within a high-performing finance organization.
