Special Operations Licensed Clinical Social Worker (HQ AFSOC/Hurlburt Field, FL) We are seeking a licensed clinical social worker to integrate the physical, mental and psychological wellness of service members and their families. The role is within an operational unit, acting as a behavioral health care provider and applying social work procedures and techniques including interviewing, behavioral assessment, and evidence‑based therapies for psychological and neuropsychological disorders. Responsibilities Engage in quality improvement and staff meetings, conferences Conduct applied research and clinical investigations in clinical/behavioral health/organizational social work Consult with medical personnel, legal authorities, military commanders and school districts as required Maintain accurate medical records of all patients seen and produce evaluation and treatment reports Participate in military-specific training Possibly supervise unlicensed providers or trainees Perform activities such as completing DoD-required training, contacting referred patients, using validated symptom inventories, assessing barriers to treatment adherence, providing patient education, maintaining patient registry and EMR notes, and routine case management functions Qualifications U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status Secret clearance or ability to obtain one Master of Social Work (MSW) or equivalent degree from a CSWE‑accredited program Current, unrestricted clinical license in one of the 50 states, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or U.S. Virgin Islands Credentialing requirements in good standing at a local MTF Minimum of two years of independent clinical social work practice in a mental health setting within the past five years Demonstrated knowledge of professional standards and ethics for clinical social work services Experience in brief behavioral interventions May be required to receive and maintain clinical practice privileges Skills and Training Fluent oral and written communication skills in English Prior military and/or SOF experience Experience working in a government setting such as DoD or VA MTF Compliance with Safety, Health and Environmental plan, quality assurance plan, and other policies and procedures Regular, acceptable attendance and completion of required training Perform other assignments and duties as required Benefits Competitive lifestyle benefits including a 401(k) plan with company match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, flexible spending account, disability, paid time off, and flexible work schedule.
