Systems Analyst Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Job Summary Systems Analyst SME – provides enterprise‑level software support, asset management, reporting, and systems administration for mission‑critical Army systems and logistics operations at Fort Eustis, Virginia. Responsibilities Perform all phases of the software development lifecycle. Analyze business and operational requirements to develop technical solutions. Create and maintain software models, workflows, and system documentation. Perform software updates, testing, debugging, and quality assurance activities. Develop reports and dashboards supporting operational and management requirements. Maintain relationships between assets within the Single Interface to the Field supporting the Incident Reporting Module. Create and maintain Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications tools for data verification and asset management. Perform quality‑assurance reviews on incident reports submitted by Contractor Field Service Representatives. Analyze labor reporting data and generate monthly performance metrics for leadership review. Support ServiceNow, OAMS interfaces, and asset accountability systems. Maintain inventory accountability and warehouse tracking within the WASP Inventory Management Cloud platform. Develop PowerPoint presentations and executive‑level reporting products. Support collaboration efforts using Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Business Systems, or related field with 8+ years of relevant experience OR 12 years of equivalent technical experience without a degree. Minimum 8 years of experience supporting DoD enterprise systems, logistics systems, cyber‑enabled platforms, or asset‑management environments. Experience supporting systems in compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies and RMF requirements. Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Access). Experience using ServiceNow and OAMS interfaces. Experience with WASP Inventory Cloud or similar warehouse and inventory‑management systems. Experience with Python and Visual Basic programming. Experience creating reports, dashboards, and data‑analysis products. Experience supporting asset accountability, inventory tracking, and logistics workflows. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Ability to support cyber‑workforce qualification requirements aligned to assigned DoD 8140 work‑role categories. Active Secret Clearance required; ability to obtain and maintain a Top‑Secret clearance. Must meet DoD 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification Program requirements. Required Certifications CompTIA Security+ CompTIA CySA+ Cisco CCNA Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate Preferred Certifications ITIL Foundation Certification ServiceNow Certified System Administrator Microsoft Power Platform Certification Certified Associate in Python Programming (PCAP) Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Preferred Skills Experience supporting Army logistics or sustainment operations. Knowledge of RMF processes. Familiarity with cybersecurity compliance and vulnerability remediation. Experience supporting C5ISR or tactical communications systems. Experience developing automated reporting and workflow solutions. Familiarity with Army property accountability and supply‑chain operations. Work Details Scheduled weekly hours: 40.
