Physician Liaison - Michigan

Stance Health is seeking a Physician Liaison to help us grow our referral pipeline by building strong relationships with doctors’ offices, presenting the value of our services, and supporting physician engagement across Metro Detroit. You will act as an external face of Stance to pain clinics, physical medicine and rehab practices, primary care offices, and other practices where chronic pain is prevalent (e.g., Neurology, Gynecology, Rheumatology, Gastroenterology). Role Overview As a Physician Liaison, you will be the relationship-builder between Stance Health and referring provider offices across Michigan. You’ll educate practices on our services, strengthen referral pathways, and serve as a trusted point of contact to help providers and patients navigate care efficiently. What You’ll Do Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, practice managers, referral coordinators, and clinical staff Conduct in-person and virtual office visits to educate providers on Stance Health services, care pathways, and referral processes Increase referral volume by identifying opportunities, addressing barriers, and improving provider experience Serve as the day-to-day liaison for provider questions, issue resolution, and service recovery Coordinate with internal teams (operations, scheduling, clinical, billing/authorization as applicable) to ensure smooth patient handoffs Track outreach activity, referral trends, and account notes in a CRM; provide regular updates and insights to leadership Support onboarding of new referring practices, including workflow mapping and staff training Represent Stance Health at local events, meetings, and community/healthcare networking opportunities Ensure all interactions align with applicable healthcare regulations and company policies What We’re Looking For Experience in healthcare outreach, provider relations, medical sales, patient access, practice operations, or a related field Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build credibility quickly Comfortable working independently in a field-based role and managing a territory/priorities effectively Professional presence with a service-oriented, solutions-first mindset Ability to explain processes clearly and tailor messaging to clinical and administrative audiences Strong organizational skills and attention to detail (follow-ups, documentation, and coordination) Proficiency with basic business tools (email, calendars, spreadsheets) and willingness to learn CRM systems Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally within Michigan Preferred Qualifications Experience working with physician practices, referral workflows, or patient scheduling/authorization processes Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare compliance expectations Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) or similar tracking systems Background in healthcare marketing, community outreach, or account management Success in This Role Looks Like Provider offices view you as responsive, reliable, and easy to work with Referral processes become clearer and more consistent across your territory You consistently meet activity and relationship-building goals (visits, follow-ups, trainings) You identify and resolve issues quickly, improving provider and patient experience You share actionable insights from the field that help improve operations and growth Work Location Michigan, USA Field-based with local travel to provider offices; some virtual work as needed #J-18808-Ljbffr Stance Health
