Job Description As a Security Officer Lobby Ambassador in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will deliver professional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.70 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur04:00 PM - 12:30 AMFri04:00 PM - 12:30 AMSat04:00 PM - 12:30 AMSun04:00 PM - 12:30 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or clients at a commercial real estate location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading docks, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures. Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience. A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
