Manufacturing Engineer

job summary:
Join a growing long-standing manufacturing company as a manufacturing engineer in Union City, CA. This role will be responsible for the creation, revision, and control of manufacturing and standard work processes. Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a complex manufacturing environment. This is a direct hire position with a very stable company and the opportunity to join an exciting environment that works on complex projects.

responsibilities:

• Perform time studies, process mapping, and lean reviews with manufacturing staff

• Develop, revise, and control manufacturing documentation

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on new product introduction and process improvement projects

• Develop implementation plans for horizontal implementation of improved manufacturing processes, and tooling implementation

Qualifications

• 3+ years of process improvement and manufacturing engineering

• GD& T, blueprint, and lean manufacturing knoweldge
