As a travel SLP, you’ll collaborate closely with district staff to implement and manage IEPs, foster strong partnerships with parents, and help ensure every child receives early intervention that sets a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current Speech-Language Pathology license/certification (or eligibility) for Illinois
• Previous experience with early childhood (Birth-5), Head Start, or related pediatric environments preferred
• Familiarity with IEP processes and comfortable collaborating with district teams
• Strong communication and family support skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language services within a Birth-5, Head Start/Early Head Start framework
• Develop and implement IEPs in coordination with district and interdisciplinary teams
• Provide ongoing support and assist home visitors as required for ISFP/IEP needs
• Serve multiple locations (three sites) with a central "home base"
• Offer guidance and resources to parents, empowering them in their advocacy and support roles
