Position: Travel Cath Lab Technician

Shift Details

Shift: 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Weekdays with On-Call Requirements (Three 12-Hour Shifts)

Facility Overview

This multi-campus facility includes a 323-bed hospital located in the heart of Ocala and a 262-bed hospital in west Marion County. A recent expansion has increased capacity at the West Marion Campus, enhancing inpatient rehabilitation and medical/surgical services. Five free-standing Emergency Departments are available to improve community access to care.

Unit Profile

Location: Ocala, FL
Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab
Number of Labs: 3
Patient Ratios: 3:1
Unit Equipment: GE lab, Impella, Balloon pump, Penumbra, IVUS
Documentation System: Merge Hemo documentation
Scheduling Requirements: 4 ten-hour shifts with rotating call
Floating Policy: May require coverage at the nearby sister hospital for STEMI calls

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

Certifications: RCIS and ACLS/BLS
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a Cath Lab setting
Advanced Skills: EP experience preferred

Procedures Performed

The Cath Lab conducts a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures, including:

Right and Left Heart Catheterization
Peripheral Diagnostic and Interventional Procedures

Dress Code

Required uniform will be provided: OR scrubs.
