Position TitleRetirement/HSA Services SpecialistLocationHicksville, NY 11801Job SummaryThe Retirement and HSA Processor is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of retirement plan and Health Savings Account (HSA) transactions. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies while delivering high-quality service to clients and participants. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.Job Responsibilities:Process retirement plan transactions including enrollments, contributions, distributions, rollovers, and maintenances.Handle HSA transactions such as account openings, contributions, disbursements, and corrections.Review and verify documentation for accuracy and completeness.Ensure all transactions comply with IRS, DOL, and ERISA regulations.Maintain accurate records and update participant account information in the system.Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding retirement and HSA accounts.Collaborate with payroll, HR, and finance teams to ensure data integrity.Assist with audits, reconciliations, and reporting as needed.Identify and escalate discrepancies or issues to senior staff or supervisors.Support process improvement initiatives and contribute to team goals.Uses independent judgement and discretion to make decisions.Analyzes and resolves problems.ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIESPerforms special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.JOB REQUIREMENTSRequired Qualifications:Education level required: ​High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent.Minimum experience required: ​1+ Years​ of banking.Preferred Qualifications:Prior experience in bankingFamiliarity in retirement plans and related regulations.Strong communication and customer service skills.Job Competencies:Understanding of HSA/IRA operations.Experience with Microsoft tools (excel, Word).Demonstrates a strong ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders by communicating clearly, engaging in proactive collaboration, and leveraging cross functional insights.
