This includes implementing district‑approved curriculum, documenting student progress, addressing individual educational needs, and providing feedback to students, parents, and administration. Submit requested data and information in a timely manner. Attend all scheduled meetings organized by supervisors and district administrators. Complete necessary paperwork as directed. Stay informed about and understand the district's crisis management plan. Exemplify professional excellence in the school, community, and on social media. Focus on designated responsibilities and collaborate effectively while respecting role boundaries. Serve as a strong advocate for the district, promoting its values and achievements. Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a supportive work environment. Demonstrate reliable attendance to maximize student instruction. Responsibilities: Develop and administer middle‑school curriculum consistent with district goals. Promote a safe classroom environment conducive to individualized and small‑group instruction. Create lesson plans and instructional materials that maximize instructional time. Conduct ongoing assessment of student learning and modify instructional methods for individual needs, including special‑needs students. Teach responsible citizenship principles and subject matter specified by law. Participate in professional development activities. Maintain accurate records for grading, attendance, and reporting. Encourage parental involvement and communicate effectively with parents. Ensure student conduct aligns with district policies and establish behavioral standards. Collaborate with other staff to evaluate curriculum and participate in faculty meetings. Select and requisition instructional materials and maintain inventory. Supervise students during activities outside the classroom, including transportation. Administer standardized tests per district programs. Participate in the Professional Learning Community process. Adapt to virtual learning through blended instruction models. Use standard office equipment (computers, printers, fax, telephone). Physical and Mental Demands: Lift at least 30 pounds. Provide physical assistance during emergencies (evacuations, lockdowns). Maintain stamina and agility to care for active students. Work Environment: Standard office and school building environment. Travel to district buildings and professional meetings. Provide behavior support using appropriate restraint or seclusion techniques as required for safety.
