This includes implementing district‑approved curriculum, documenting student progress, addressing individual educational needs, and providing feedback to students, parents, and administration. Responsibilities: Develop and administer middle‑school curriculum consistent with district goals. Promote a safe classroom environment conducive to individualized and small‑group instruction. Create lesson plans and instructional materials that maximize instructional time. Conduct ongoing assessment of student learning and modify instructional methods for individual needs, including special‑needs students. Teach responsible citizenship principles and subject matter specified by law. Participate in professional development activities. Maintain accurate records for grading, attendance, and reporting. Encourage parental involvement and communicate effectively with parents. Ensure student conduct aligns with district policies and establish behavioral standards. Collaborate with other staff to evaluate curriculum and participate in faculty meetings. Select and requisition instructional materials and maintain inventory.
