About The Role & Team The Cloud Support Engineer is responsible for the implementation, support, optimization, and ongoing management of Ingenico's hosted and licensed cloud-based solutions for customers and partners. This role serves as a technical expert, providing deployment support, system administration, troubleshooting, configuration management, and customer onboarding across complex environments. Working closely with customers, internal support teams, and cross-functional stakeholders, the Cloud Solutions Engineer ensures platform reliability, performance, and successful solution adoption while supporting cloud infrastructure, databases, networking components, operating systems, and custom integrations. What You’ll Do Provide ongoing support for customers using hosted or licensed Ingenico solutions for device management – upgrades, troubleshooting, configuration and boarding. Support installations for clients using licensed versions of the solution. Such installations require experience with backend technology options, including networking, load balancers, firewalls and network segments, operating systems, databases, network file systems. Testing and working with support team designing test matrix to ensure the proper functionality of the custom solutions. Provide an overview of the solutions (TEM, 360), training and walkthrough for clients as well as internal teams. Running reports from TEM. Guide/train customers on bulk boarding of devices. Shell scripting for different functionalities and custom components. Database management: Back up, clean up and monitoring of the health and capability of the databases. Linux and Windows Server management. Assist licensed customers with ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, etc.), that is used for management of advanced TEM features. About Your Skills Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experienced in Networking, Operating Systems, Databases. SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and a scripting language (Python, JavaScript, Typescript). Experience in working with XML and JSON based files payloads. Windows, Linux, Tomcat/Apache server management. Familiar with configuration of firewalls, load balancers, etc. Understanding of Cloud technologies. Ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues. Quick learner, analytical, with self-motivation skills. Preferred Virtual Machine management. Understanding / familiarity with cloud platform management and cloud component troubleshooting. Java/ Kotlin. In accordance with Ontario pay transparency requirements under Bill 190, the base salary range for this position is CAD $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 .
