About This Role The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room at NYU Langone Hospital - Brooklyn is responsible for nursing care and outcomes for a group of patients, collaborating with the healthcare team to provide high-quality care. Highlights Pay: $64.25 - $79.63 Hourly Location: Brooklyn, NY Facility: NYU Langone Hospital - Brooklyn Schedule: Part-Time What You’ll Do Perform duties aligned with the mission and values of the organization. Demonstrate personal accountability for professional practice and growth. Document patient assessments and progress accurately and timely. Promote patient safety and quality, adhering to National Patient Safety Goals. Communicate and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team. Establish caring relationships with patients, families, and staff. Administer medication and parenteral therapy according to policy. Establish priorities for patient care delivery using critical thinking. Provide patient/family education and assist in discharge planning. Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary for nursing care based on patient criteria.
