We want you on our team!As a Estimator/Project Manager, you are responsible for leading a team of service professionals in completing projects by a set deadline to uphold business initiatives. Your duties include estimating, budgeting and management of different project aspects and advocating for additional funding when necessary. Hiring freelance professionals or selecting project team members from existing departments and setting or adjusting project schedules to adhere to deadlines. Over the course of a project, the you will need to communicate with staff and clients, make decisions and monitor the progress of the project to keep it on schedule.Your efforts contribute to the day-to-day contract operations of Rainbow Restoration. Then this career opportunity may be for you!Specific Responsibilities:Driving company vehiclesWork with a teamCreating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlinesDelegating tasks on the project to team members best positioned to complete themMaking effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the projectServing as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergyCommunicating with customers to keep the project aligned with their goalsPerforming quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expectedAdjusting schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project changeCommunicate with customers about scope of work and review necessary paperworkEstablish and maintain a schedule to ensure all services are delivered in a timely mannerMeet deadlinesTypes of projects include:Water restorationMold remediationTrauma scene cleaningSmoke & fire damage restorationCarpet & upholstery cleaningContent cleaningLead remediationBoard up & tarp over servicesCommercial grass cutting & snow removalProperty maintenanceConstruction projectsRespond to jobs and initiate work in accordance with IICRC standards and Rainbow Restoration's internal processesMaintain company assets (equipment, vehicles, etc.) keeping them clean, properly maintained and fully stocked to be available at all timesPerform marketing tasks to sell additional services or develop additional business as requiredPerform other duties as required.
