Human Resources GeneralistSouthern Specialties is a premier contract manufacturing partner providing precision sheet metal fabrication and fully assembled turnkey products. We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to serve as the dedicated HR resource for Southern Specialties. This is an independent, hands-on position that will take ownership of established HR programs and processes while providing responsive support to employees and leaders. The position reports to the Corporate Vice President of Human Resources with a dotted-line relationship to the General Manager.What You Will DoLead full-cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried positions, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, offers, and pre-employment activities.Coordinate onboarding and conduct new hire orientation.Administer payroll activities and maintain accurate payroll and employee records.Coordinate benefits enrollment, life-event changes, and employee benefit support.Serve as the primary HR resource for employees and supervisors.Support employee relations, investigations, performance management, and corrective action processes.Coordinate unemployment claims and Oklahoma Employment Security Commission filings.Execute established compliance, leave, recordkeeping, and reporting processes.Lead the migration to the Southern Specialties HR SharePoint Hub and own its ongoing content and administration.Maintain HR communications, forms, policies, and employee resources.What You BringBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Three or more years of broad Human Resources experience.Experience with recruiting, payroll, benefits enrollment, and employee relations.Knowledge of employment laws and HR practices.Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and exercise sound judgment.Strong communication, organization, confidentiality, and follow-through.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.PreferredFive or more years of Human Resources experience.HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.Experience supporting an hourly workforce.Payroll and SharePoint administration experience.PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification.Why Southern Specialties?You will have broad responsibility, meaningful autonomy, and the opportunity to become the trusted HR partner for a team that values performance, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
