Food and Beverage Manager – Oregon Convention Center/Portland Expo Center The Food & Beverage Manager works alongside the Director of Restaurants & Cafes to oversee operations at the Oregon Convention Center and Portland Expo Center, ensuring high standards of guest experience, safety, and financial performance. Responsibilities Understand all menus, product offerings, packaging, and pricing. Ensure all concession areas have proper displays and merchandise. Execute all security, safety, and sanitation standards. Provide operational planning to ensure appropriate teaming levels are met and products are ordered to serve each concession event. Follow and execute preventative maintenance schedule as set forth by the Director of Concessions. Hold team accountable to steps of service to deliver great guest service. Ensure show quality standards are maintained at all times. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, guests, subcontractors, not‑for‑profits, and Levy team members. Regularly obtain feedback from clients and guests to improve operations. Respond and assist in any departmental guest service issues. Execute all menus, promotions, and programs as outlined by the Director of Operations/Department Head in accordance with Levy standards. Achieve daily sales and assigned cost goals. Achieve assigned budget goals. Follow and enforce responsible alcohol service policies. Effectively verify all opening and closing inventories. Execute required daily reporting in a timely manner. Ensure required department reports are completed and information is compiled at month‑end closing. Ensure team members adhere to Levy Company guidelines as stated in the team member training manual and employee handbook. Forecast and adequately schedule team members to meet operational needs and desired targets. Ensure proper cash handling procedures are being performed. Ensure assigned areas are fully stocked and are ready for operation. Ensure complete maintenance and on‑site training of the current POS system and concession equipment. Conduct regularly scheduled meetings to ensure lines of communication are open between management and team members. Interview, hire, train, and develop team members according to Levy guidelines. Other responsibilities, as needed. Qualifications 3+ years of leadership experience in hospitality or retail. Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management is preferred. High level of computer literacy. Use data, dashboards, and analytical insights to guide business decisions and optimize performance across key initiatives. Apply financial acumen to evaluate performance, manage costs, and support fiscally responsible decision‑making. Passion for hospitality, food, and retail. Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
