We are looking for a Shopify Marketplace Content Assistant to manage product content across the company’s e-commerce and marketplace channels.
Working closely with the E-Commerce Manager, this person will ensure products are accurately and consistently presented online, including product descriptions, pricing, product details, and other key information.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and an excellent writer, with confidence working across Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and update product listings in Shopify , including titles, descriptions, pricing, images, SKUs, UPCs, fabric content, features, and other product details.
- Manage product content and uploads through Mirakl for third-party marketplace accounts.
- Create and edit product descriptions and e-commerce copy .
- Upload and maintain product information across Shopify and marketplace platforms.
- Maintain product data and master spreadsheets to ensure information is accurate and up to date.
- Support new product launches and ongoing product updates.
- Review online listings for accuracy and consistency.
- Work closely with the E-Commerce Manager to resolve content or upload issues.
- Use AI tools to help create, improve, and manage e-commerce content and increase efficiency.
Qualifications
- 1 year of e-commerce, marketplace, digital merchandising, or product content experience.
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working with Excel/Google Sheets and product data.
- Familiarity with third-party marketplaces is a plus.
- Understanding of AI tools and their use in e-commerce/content creation.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.

You are someone who enjoys working with products, content, and technology and understands the importance of getting the details right. You are comfortable moving between writing product copy, managing data, uploading listings, and working in Shopify and Mirakl.

Reports to: E-Commerce Manager
Work Hybrid: 4 days in-office / 1 WFH
Salary: $65,000- 75,000 depending on experience
