Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN specializing in Home Health for a travel assignment in Bronx, NY. This role involves providing comprehensive care to patients in their homes, integrating pre-and post-operative care expertise. Experience in a home care environment is essential.

- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in consultation with healthcare professionals
- Provide direct and individualized bedside nursing care to pre-and post-surgery patients
- Administer and record prescribed medications
- Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs
- Adjust medical equipment and interpret measurements
- Monitor patients' vitals and report adverse reactions
- Collaborate on discharge planning with the healthcare team
- Educate patients and their families on surgical procedures and care
- Maintain and update patient files and medical records
- Adhere to best nursing practices, standards, and protocols
- Minimum two (2) years Med/Surg experience in acute care or post-acute facilities (most recent within the past year)
- Experience in home care and physical assessment
- Proficiency in medication administration, wound care, infection control, IV therapy, and post-operative care
- New York State RN License & Primary Source Verification
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications (Queens area only)
- Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited educational institute
