Job Description

This role is responsible for inspecting, labeling, and packaging pharmaceutical products on a production line in a fast-paced, FDA-regulated environment. The position offers significant growth potential and involves working closely with senior operators to ensure products are packaged accurately and safely according to strict quality standards. Responsibilities

• Inspect pharmaceutical products visually to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
• Perform accurate packaging of products following detailed packing instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Finalize and verify labeling, including shipping details, to ensure all information is correct and compliant.
• Work on a production line, maintaining pace and efficiency while upholding quality requirements.
• Use a computer to complete training modules, documentation, and basic production-related tasks.
• Collaborate with senior operators and team members to support smooth production flow and problem-solving.
• Lift and move materials and product cases weighing between 5 and 40 pounds throughout the shift.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with GMP and FDA regulations.
• Follow all safety procedures and quality protocols, including cleanroom and controlled-environment guidelines.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and support compliance with FDA standards for pharmaceutical packaging.
• Confirm that the correct product is included in each package and that shipping information is accurate before dispatch.
• Operate within a fast-paced environment while meeting productivity and quality targets.
• Participate in required training and stay current with updated procedures and documentation.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis.
• High school diploma, transcripts, or GED.
• Good vision suitable for detailed visual inspection; glasses or contacts are acceptable.
• Ability to navigate and use a computer for training, documentation, and basic production tasks.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Attention to detail for inspection, labeling, and packaging of pharmaceutical products.
• Ability to follow written packing instructions and standard operating procedures accurately.
• Strong focus on safety and quality in daily work.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working in an FDA-regulated environment.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Experience in pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing or packaging.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a production team and take direction from
• Strong reliability and punctuality for consistent shift work.
• Willingness to learn new processes as additional production lines and shifts are added.

Work Environment

This role is based in a clean, temperature-controlled, FDA-regulated manufacturing facility with two floors. Employees work in a controlled environment that may include cleanroom areas, following strict safety, quality, and GMP guidelines. The work involves manufacturing and packaging IV bags and intravenous drugs on production lines. The current packaging team is small, and additional lines and shifts are being added, offering a dynamic environment with growth and change. The position is on first shift, typically 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Team members use computers for training and documentation, handle materials weighing up to 40 pounds, and follow established dress and hygiene requirements appropriate for a pharmaceutical manufacturing and cleanroom setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bedford, OH.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
