Cardiovascular Sonographer / Cardiovascular Lab / Full Time

Job Description Summary of Performance Expectations: Performs a variety of imaging procedures under the clinical direction of a radiologist, cardiologist, or surgeon. Given training and on-the-job experience, the incumbent should be proficient in all aspects of the position within three months of employment date. Education & Credentials Required: Graduate of an accredited program of Medical or Cardiovascular Sonography. Current ARDMS or CCI registration in echocardiography or vascular sonography. Effective July 29, 2016, newly employed Imaging Technologist are required to possess an Associate degree. BCLS certification. If the BCLS certification is not from the American Heart Association (AHA), an AHA certification is required within one month of employment date. Preferred: Additional certifications or training not specified. Work Experience Required: No previous experience required. Given training and on-the-job experience, the incumbent should be proficient in all aspects of the position within three months of employment date.
