Cardiovascular Technologist / Cardiovascular Lab / Part Time

Job Description

Summary:


Performs a variety of imaging procedures under the clinical direction of a Radiologist, Cardiologist or Surgeon.

Reqiured Education:


Graduate of an accredited Radiologic technology program or Computed Tomography/Magnetic Resonance technology program or Nuclear Medicine technology program or Sonography technology program. Current ARRT, ARRT(N), ARRT(MR), ARRT(CT), or ARDMS, or CNMT registration. BCLS certification. If the BCLS certification is not from the American Heart Association (AHA), an AHA certification is required within one month of employment date.

Required Work Experience:


No previous experience required. Given training and on-the-job experience, incumbent should be proficient in all aspects of the position within three months of employment date.
Nuclear Medicine technologist registered in PET or Cardiac.


CVL/US technologist holding 3 or more registries.
CT/MR technologist competent and performing both modalities.
