IT Technician

What we offer: Competitive Pay Paid Time Off State of the Art Facilities & Technology Full Time Compensation starts at $22/hour What you will do: This role is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving hardware and software of the organization. Basic Hardware Knowledge: Must be able to set up a computer (monitor, keyboard, as well as other equipment). Must be able to troubleshoot Windows and Apple devices. Must be able to troubleshoot basic server and network issues for devices. Demonstrate ability to troubleshoot and display understanding of Microsoft’s core applications and operating systems (Office, RDP, as well as other systems). Exhibit ability to manage users in Active Directory. Communicate with team members and outside contractors/providers with clarity and in a professional and timely manner. Track, monitor, and resolve tickets in ticketing system. Exhibit excellent customer service that results in team member positive perception and satisfaction with IT experience. Track and monitor inventory. Display and exhibit ability to work on a team and communicate effectively. Uphold and incorporate the core values, mission, and philosophy of Pediatrics Plus into all job responsibilities. Participate in one‑on‑one meetings with leader. What you have: Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a wide variety of people. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Basic computer skills which include a working knowledge of keyboarding, database, word processing, spreadsheet, and Internet software. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a very busy environment. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, policies, and other company documents. Ability to author routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Reports for work dressed appropriately and complies with company policies regarding the dress code. Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance. Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner. Travel will be required. Education/Certification/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. 3+ years’ experience in a related field, preferred. Must possess a valid driver’s license in the state of Arkansas. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to accurately communicate information and ideas so others will understand through sight and hearing. The employee is regularly required to move including walking, running, jumping, and sitting. The employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, lift, reach, and feel. The employee must frequently stand and stoop, twist, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include near and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
